Build-up relationship!! Nong Nooch Pattaya brought 16,000 tress for making Cambodia-Thai Friendship Park at the heart of Phnomphen to establish a good relationship
On 24th August 2017 Mr.Kampon Tansacha, Director of Nong Nooch Pattaya, Chonburi Province with more than 100 garden designers of Nong Nooch brought tress and equipment utilized for making garden and improving the landscape by employing symbolic trees of Cambodia and Thailand, namely Date Palm, Sugar Palm, Palm, Paduak combined with various shrubbery to decorate the area to be neat and tidy, totally more than 16,500 tress approximately 3 million baht. It is still maintain the uniqueness of the park for recreation of Cambodian people completely. The park greatly creates atmosphere and feeling for Cambodians and foreigners in Cambodia who exposure and relax in this place However, Nong Nooch has not charge any cost for this landscape improvement.
Mr.Kampon Tansacha said Nong Nooch Garden was fortunately to obtain opportunity for designing the charming and elegant landscape which is a tourist place surrounded by the important government offices of Cambodia in Phnom Penh at the heart of Cambodia on behalf of Thai people. This is a great opportunity of Nong Nooch Pattaya Thailand to be granted to truly make garden and design landscape for Cambodians. In additional, Nong Nooch is also allowed to make garden for Thailand Embassy in Cambodia which has area over 12 Rais to be beautiful and dignified as honor and prestige of the Thai Embassy in Cambodia as well.
Mr.Som Chaiya, Cambodia who observed on this garden making today declared that he was so happy because this location is the central of Phnomphen and the important tourist place. Therefore, Nong Nooch Pattaya leads by Mr.Kampon Tansacha, Director of Nong Nooch Garden which is the international garden making company, establish the park for this occasion. On behalf of Cambodians, I am so pleased and hope the park will be the symbolic of relationship and love between Cambodians and Thai people further.
Background of establish Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Park started from Cambodia sent the representative of Prime Minister Hun Sen visiting General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand and requested Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden to make a garden in Phnom Penh because Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden has experiences in making garden and improve landscape, especially landscape improvement of many important places of Thailand namely Government House, Rajabhakti Park, International Horticulture Exposition, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Government of Cambodia has provided budget of this project to Nong Nooch Pattaya. Then, Mr.Kampon Tansacha coordinated with Governor office of Phnomphen to visit site and found that the location is the important spot located in central of Phnom Penh which consists of grass field and small quantity of tress with 20×450 m (9,000 sq.m.) size. The location is also surrounded by many important places, namely United States of America Embassy, Ministry of Communication and Post, Business Administration University, Ministry of Commercial, National Library, French School and closed to Phanom Temple which is the important tourist place of Phnom Penh. In a meanwhile, Nong Nooch Pattaya is searching area for doing CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) project in neighboring countries. Therefore, Nong Nooch proposed to Governor of Phnom Penh that this project will be considered as CSR project of Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden which Nong Nooch Garden will operate free of charge for Phnom Penh to tighten relationship between people of the two countries and give back to society regarding to the intention of Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden.
As aforementioned reasons, Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden agreed with Phnom Penh to operate and improve the park which expected to be done during 23rd – 27th August 2017. Cambodia Government was pleased to name this garden as “Cambodia-Thai Friendship Park”.
